Meet the Support Staff
The NPC support staff of the Rainbow Room are just as critical to it's operations as the PC staff. Feel free to RP with/for the NPC staff members as appropriate to their characters. It helps breathe life and character into Mo's Tavern.
Chad
The Former Cashier
As vacuous as he is cute, Chad is ever ready with a winning smile for guests at The Rainbow Room. He always has a friendly word... if he can remember what you just said to him. Also, he counts the register at least eight times or more because he's that dumb... which is why he's mostly been demoted from running the till to checking coats and weapons... if he can match ticket numbers half the time. Really, he's there mostly for eye candy and is pretty much useless for anything else, but he's too sweet to just fire him because he'd probably wind up on the streets trying to hustle (poorly) because he's too stupid to hold down any other job.
Charles
The Sous Chef
The no nonsense sous chef of The Rainbow Room, Charles is an elezen of Ishgardian origins with a distinctive Ishgardian accent and a full measure of Ishgardian snobbery. One would think he's a noble with how he puts on airs, but no, he's a commoner. Rumors even say he rose up from out of the Brume, but he'll vehemently deny them.He is, however, every bit as good as he is arrogant, working smoothly alongside Chaz, the head chef of The Rainbow Room, somehow able to get along with the abrasive Xaela.
Chaz
The Head Chef
Notorious for his sour demeanor, Chaz is the head chef of The Rainbow Room, having replaced Danryoku when he went on leave. He's grumpy and has a chip on his shoulder, but he's damned good at what he does; turning out delicious food to order in a very timely manner. He's also a bit of a lech and the rest of the staff have been carefully selected for being people who won't tumble into bed with the tempestuous Xaela.
Chingis
Valet
Hailing from the Azim Steppe, this stoic Xaela declined to give his tribal affiliation upon applying to The Rainbow Room. He is a man of few words, and those he has are spoken gruffly and with a thick Xaelic accent. So far he is fitting in well at the venue as the attendant for the VIP lounge, finding it far easier to simply take food and drink orders and serve with minimal need for conversation.
Chayse
The Steward
Chayse is a very unlikely and mysterious Xaela. Clearly his name is not of Steppes origin, but it's the one he gave when he applied... no surname supplied. He's the refined and gentlemanly overseer of the support staff. He performs his duties with style, grace, and an unnerving quiet that feeds into the suspicion and rumors that overshadow his every action... Rumor is he is a spy.. or assassin... or possibly both! No one knows what his motivations are, but his skills certainly exceed his position.
Chuck...
There's also the former employee you should keep an eye out for... Chuck, a miqo'te Seeker of the Sun who used to be the cashier... but turned out he was a sticky fingered bitch who was sleeping with the head chef. When Zhalar discovered he was stealing from the till, Mogan demoted him to kitchen drudge, then eventually fired him when his attitude and work ethics failed to improve. If you see Chuck around you should let someone know immediately!
